At first glance, each figure in the Octahedrons still life is a simple set of planar figures that form convex regions using light and shadow transitions. But fantasy draws an image of a bunch of bright gems descending on thin strings from nowhere. The painting is part of the Mobiles series and fits perfectly into the modern interior.
